Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) – WOC (PRN) to provide expert consultation, assessment, education, and direct care for patients with wounds, ostomies, drains, pressure injuries, and continence needs across the continuum of care.

In this specialized role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support nursing staff through education and coaching, and help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.

What You'll Do

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with wound, ostomy, and continence needs
  • Serve as a clinical resource and consultant for nursing staff and healthcare teams
  • Provide patient, family, and staff education related to enterostomal therapy
  • Assist with discharge planning and continuity of care
  • Support nursing quality initiatives, professional practice, and research activities
  • Collaborate with community resources and interdisciplinary care teams

Qualifications

Required:

  • Current Georgia RN license or temporary permit
  • Degree in Nursing
  • Minimum three (3) years of progressive RN experience
  • Strong interest and aptitude for Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing

  • Experience caring for complex wound and ostomy patients
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
