Overview

We are seeking a Senior Planner in Henderson, NV. The Senior Planner will lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of project planning and scheduling systems to support successful delivery of studies and execution projects. Provide schedule leadership, progress assessment, forecasting, and schedule analytics to project management and client teams.

Your role

  • Develop, maintain, and control integrated project schedules from study through execution.
  • Establish planning and scheduling procedures, standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Perform critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and schedule recovery evaluations.
  • Monitor progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare schedule forecasts and provide recommendations to support project decision-making.
  • Interface with engineering, procurement, construction, project controls, and client teams to ensure schedule alignment.
  • Develop progress measurement systems and produce regular schedule status reports.
  • Support project execution planning, phase transitions, and gate reviews.
  • Provide guidance, training, and functional leadership to project planners and schedulers.
  • Support staffing forecasts and resource planning activities for planning and scheduling functions.

About you

  • 10–15+ years of project planning and scheduling experience on large capital projects.
  • Demonstrated experience developing schedules for mining studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and EPCM execution projects.
  • Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6 and schedule reporting tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning workflows.
  • Experience performing critical path, what-if, and schedule risk analyses.
  • Ability to interface effectively with project managers, engineering managers, discipline leads, and clients.
  • Mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial project experience strongly preferred.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $110,700 - $120,600 annually depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
