Full job description
Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean? Well, we pump peanut butter into your jar, and the oil in your car. We glue the soles of your shoes, the glass in your windows and the screen on your phone. Hours: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
Internship Duration: May - August 2027
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of all machine tools, assembly equipment and manufacturing assets.
Perform testing, adjustments and repair in the area of hydraulics, mechanical, electrical and electronics.
Disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble. Equipment includes: electrical systems, Programmable Logic Control systems, hydraulic pumps/systems, gear boxes/transmissions, and pneumatic systems.
Read and understand mechanical prints and electrical schematics.
Promptly respond to customer maintenance requests concerning equipment breakdowns.
Provide support to departmental personnel as workload dictates.
Keep accurate maintenance records.
Order parts/supplies and maintain inventory accuracy.
Follow all required safety guidelines and utilize the proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent.
Working toward a degree in electrical, electronics, hydraulics, fluid power, robotics or related field.
Education in manufacturing/machining programs (i.e. Mechanical Troubleshooting, PLC Controls, Trouble Shooting and Diagnostics, and Electronics).
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
Ability to disassemble equipment, access problems, and reassemble.
Ability to adjust machines physical placement and parameters to original machine specifications.
Proficient working knowledge of a variety of electronic controls.
Understand safety rules and regulations to prevent unsafe set-ups, operations, or acts, which might cause injury to self, others or the environment.

The base pay range for this position is listed below, exclusive of fringe benefits or other compensation. If you are hired, your final base hourly rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, competencies, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors, we will also consider internal equity of our current employees. Please keep in mind that the range provided is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at or near the maximum of the range would not be typical to allow for future and continued salary growth.
