What We Offer:
  • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours), 6:45A-3:15P with an occasional late day if a case runs over. M-F, no weekends, no major holidays & no call!
  • Department: Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), Operating Room (OR) position.
  • Location: Hawthorne Surgical Center, 1999 South Hawthorne Road, Winston Salem
  • Unit Info: Some of the common procedures consist of Opthalmology, Pain & Podiatry.
  • Requirements: Requires at least 1 year of recent OR experience. Candidates with Interventional Radiology experience can be considered as well.
  • Eligible for benefits day one!
What We're Looking For:
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, required. 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.
  • Experience: One year of operating room experience
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. ACLS and PALS, preferred.
  • Additional Skills (required): Must have a thorough understanding of role of RN and the ability to carry out the functions as stated in the appropriate relevant state nurse practice act. Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to patient’s age. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.
