Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC

Location Highlights

East Chicago, Indiana offers direct access to Lake Michigan attractions and convenient reach to major Midwest destinations. Jeorse Park Beach and East Chicago Marina provide waterfront recreation within the city, while downtown Chicago is about 21 road miles away with a typical drive of around 31 minutes. Indiana Dunes National Park is about 30 to 40 minutes away and features 15 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, dunes, forests, and hiking trails. Michigan City is about 50 minutes away for additional lakeshore dining and beaches, and South Bend is about 1 hour 20 minutes away with access to Notre Dame and regional attractions.
