General Labor Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, mechanically inclined General Labor Technicians to support an OP Cart Retrofit project. In this role, you will refurbish warehouse carts by replacing and installing components to meet updated operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Replace handles and side frames on warehouse carts

Replace braking systems and casters (wheels)

Install forklift tabs and netting

Apply barcode labels to completed carts

Remove and properly dispose of waste materials

Perform additional field service tasks as assigned by site leadership

Must have experience using basic hand tools and power drill/drivers

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs consistently and perform physically demanding work (standing, bending, squatting for extended periods)

Must successfully complete a phone screen and pass an Accurate background check prior to start

Position Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic

Ability to work 8–10 hour shifts, including weekends as needed

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment

Site Requirements

Steel-toe or composite-toe boots/shoes required for entry

Valid government-issued ID must be present for every shift

Contractor safety training and site procedure acknowledgment required prior to entry

All tools and equipment provided on-site

Single-site location (no travel required)

• Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items
• Safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 pounds in weight
• Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner
• Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities as required by the immediate supervisor
• Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment
• There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
