Many of our caregivers grow into Senior Caregiver roles, and from there into Client Care, Scheduling, or Sales positions within the company.<br><br><strong>What You'll Do</strong><br><br>As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, one-on-one care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Depending on your client's needs, your day may include:<br><ul><li>Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support</li><li>Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and transfers</li><li>Preparing meals and helping with light housekeeping</li><li>Providing medication reminders</li><li>Helping with transportation to appointments and errands</li><li>Supporting clients living with dementia and other cognitive or behavioral health challenges</li><li>Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition</li><li>Communicating with our care team to ensure your client gets the support they need</li></ul><br><strong>Required</strong><br><ul><li>Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to pass a background check</li><li>Authorization to work in the United States</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred</strong><br><ul><li>Prior caregiving, CNA, or HHA experience</li><li>Experience with dementia or behavioral health care</li><li>Availability for weekend or overnight shifts</li></ul><br><strong>Equal Opportunity Employer</strong><br><br>Comfort Keepers is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
