Key Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy treatments per the plans developed by supervising Physical Therapists, including exercises and modalities to enhance patient recovery.
• Continuously observe and document patient progress in our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, providing timely updates to the supervising PT to adapt treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients on correct exercise techniques and therapeutic activities to promote self-management and independence in their rehabilitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all therapy equipment is safe, functional, and properly sanitized for patient use.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions, contributing insights and observations from patient interactions to optimize care strategies.
• Develop strong rapport with patients to foster trust and motivation, helping them engage in their treatment and recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license issued by the California Board of Physical Therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Compensation and Benefits
