Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
Position Summary
Support the evaluation, validation, and documentation of new and existing processes. Will also be responsible for providing support to the CNC department by programming, set-up, and troubleshooting.
Essential Functions
- Responsible for released machines, tools, and processes
- Provide process documentation (work instructions, box counts, operator training documents, etc.)
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagrams
- Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential changes in production methods
- Drive continuous improvement of existing processes to reduce waste
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Must be able to work in a team setting
- Experience with automated machinery
- Analytical, able to solve complex technical problems
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Experience with Solidworks and/or equivalent 3d modeling software
- PFMEA, PFD, and control plan experience
- CNC programming utilizing CAD/CAM software; preferably ESPRIT
Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years’ manufacturing experience in a CNC setting
