~2000 surgical specimens per year
Frozens performed at offsite ambulatory center -- approx. 10 min away
General surgical path -- breast, GU, non-gyn mix
No hematopathology -- overly subspecialized cases sent out
Leave coverage
Potential for ongoing need extending into future dates
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
