<p align="center"><b>W</b><b>e bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today.</b></p> <p> </p> <p>Volt is immediately hiring a <b>Distribution Center Clerk (Warehouse Associate) – 10 Openings </b>in <b>Melville, NY</b>!</p> <p> </p> <p>As a <b>Distribution Center Clerk (Warehouse Associate),</b> you will<b>:</b> </p> <ul> <li>Unload inbound trucks and shipments safely and efficiently</li> <li>Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory</li> <li>Open, unpack, sort, and process shipments</li> <li>Stock products and materials in designated warehouse locations</li> <li>Apply labels, barcodes, and repack items as needed</li> <li>Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation</li> <li>Follow warehouse safety procedures and productivity standards</li> <li>Support shipping, receiving, and general distribution center operations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a<b> full-time </b>opportunity.</p> <p><b>Schedule:</b> Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM ET</p> <p> </p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>Previous warehouse, distribution center, shipping, receiving, or inventory experience preferred</li> <li>Basic computer skills required</li> <li>Ability to learn and operate warehouse equipment, including: <ul> <li>Electric pallet jack</li> <li>Hi-Lo/Forklift equipment</li> <li>Wave machine and warehouse lifts</li> </ul> </li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy with ability to read numbers</li> <li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Ability to work safely and efficiently under deadlines</li> <li>Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 lbs.</li> <li>Flexibility to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed</li> </ul> <p><b>Work Environment</b></p> <ul> <li>Combination of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift</li> <li>Frequent handling of boxes, packages, and inventory materials</li> <li>Detail-oriented work requiring accurate product verification and data entry</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Rate:<i> $15.00 –$18.00 per hour</i></b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
