Overview:

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is hiring a Part-time, Evening Shift Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) to support the Environmental Services Department
 
Hours/Shift: Part-time (32 hours a week), working Evening Shift from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Responsible for maintenance of floors. Practices safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary.

1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education.

Education

  • High School Grad or Equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

  • Less than a year Environmental Associate Experience (Required)

  • 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience in lieu of High School Education (Required)

  • Previous Healthcare/Hospitality Experience (Preferred)

  • Floor Tech experience (Preferred)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.08 - $26.26 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
