Supply Chain Inventory Risk PM: function is responsible for activities related to controlling, scheduling, and managing the flow of production from acquisition of raw materials to distribution of finished product. Areas include purchasing of materials, logistics, distribution, inventory management, warehousing, and transportation. The Materials area is responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures and material control systems activities related to material control and inventory control functions. Ensures materials are ordered and in stock while maintaining acceptable inventory levels. Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. The Multi-Focus attribute is typically reserved for roles that either: (1) are fully described by their area or function description; or (2) span multiple disciplines, products, or focuses of expertise. This job family is in the professional level category and works independently with flexibility and authority over daily work priorities. Incumbents in this job level category may provide work direction to other employees but would not typically have the authority to discipline or reward other employees.
