Anesthesia Tech - Operating Room

Full-Time 1p - 9:30p

We are currently seeking a dedicated Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Baptist Health Hardin. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems on the gas analyzers, monitors, and anesthesia machines and performs basic preventive maintenance on anesthesia machines, gas analyzers, and monitors.

• Stocks and cleans all anesthesia carts, machines, and monitors in the Operating Room and Labor & Delivery surgical suites at the beginning and end of each work period.

• Sets up IV lines (without medications), arterial lines, as directed by Anesthesia provider.

• Assists anesthesia providers by ordering supplies and keeping anesthesia workroom clean.

• Performs as a member of the surgical team in optimizing room turnaround time.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Preferred Requirements:

• Recent experience in specialty.
