What you’ll do

  • Drive & Operate: Safely haul gear, deliver materials, and operate construction equipment on site using your Class A CDL.

  • Learn & Build Telecom Infrastructure: Get hands-on training to install, excavate, and maintain complex underground telecommunications cables with precision.

  • Master the Equipment: Learn to operate and inspect heavy machinery and utility equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and Level I laborers to align on project deadlines and daily safety goals.

  • Site Restoration & Reporting: Assist with final grading, landscaping, and submitting daily progress updates.

  • Work Outdoors: Enjoy working active, outdoor projects in all weather conditions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • Valid Class A CDL (Required)

    Drive & Work Ethic: Willingness to learn multiple parts of the trade, adapt to new equipment, and work hard outdoors.

    Age & Eligibility: At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.

    Education or Background: High School Diploma, GED, or relevant hands-on work experience.

    Experience: 2+ years of experience operating construction equipment, utility trucks, or driving commercial vehicles is preferred, but a strong work ethic and readiness to learn are key.

    Flexibility: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours as project demands require.

    Team Mindset: Strong communication skills and a safe, problem-solving approach.

    Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

    Routinely: Work outdoors in all weather conditions, operate heavy vehicles/equipment, perform fine hand motions, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb, and lift greater than 55 lbs.

    Occasionally: Work in remote locations, use ladders, or handle basic administrative tracking.

The wage range for Laborer Telecom Underground II w/CDL is $25.00 - $28.00.
