About the Clinician‘s Workday
The clinician will provide general surgery call coverage on 24-hour shifts across operating room and emergency room settings at an on-site facility in Florida, with coverage required 2 weeks per month beginning as soon as possible. Primary responsibilities include performing general surgery procedures and maintaining continuous availability for both scheduled and emergent surgical needs throughout each assigned call period. The service line census ranges from 10-20 patients per day, and APP support is available to assist with clinical operations. Call coverage is required, and board certification in General Surgery is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment.
