How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the immediate post-operative and post-procedural recovery period.
• Follow AORN/ASPAN standards to maintain aseptic and sterile technique.
• Assess patient responses, manage pain, and provide appropriate interventions.
• Anticipate patient needs based on the procedure performed and underlying condition

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
