Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1880 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Crisis Prevention Institute Blue Card (CPI Blue Card) is required for submission.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Knowledge of chest tubes. Dysrhythmia training.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 maximum ratio; at times may be stretched to 7:1. Equipment includes remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps. Procedures performed include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis. Strive for a 75% patient satisfaction rate.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Agency floats occur first and may be to Ortho/Med-Surg.
