Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• AS completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience required.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including patients with hearing, learning, and physical disabilities. Uses Omnicell. No IV or transport team. Lift team available 0530-0000. Phlebotomy available 24/7 from lab. Unit secretary available 1000-2230. Hospitalist coverage 24/7; no intensivist. Pharmacy hours 0600-0900 with on-call pharmacist.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Weekend coverage required.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
