Clinical Pharmacist I

As a Clinical Pharmacist I at MedStar Health, you will provide direct clinical pharmacy services within a leading not-for-profit health system serving the Maryland–Washington, D.C. region. In this patient-first, mission-driven environment, you will verify and dispense medications, manage complex drug therapies, and participate in interdisciplinary rounds to optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities include pharmacokinetic dosing, medication therapy management, sterile compounding, and thorough safety checks for interactions and adverse events. You will counsel patients and families on safe medication use, contribute to antimicrobial stewardship and formulary management, and document interventions in the electronic health record.
