As an Armed Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a hospital environment.

Responsibilities of an Armed Tactical Security Guard- Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
- Verify identities and control access to secure areas
- React quickly to threats or incidents
- Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
- Document incidents and actions taken
- Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
- Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
- Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
Qualifications of an Armed Tactical Security Guard- Be authorized to work in the U.S.
- You are 21 years old or older
- Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED
- You have an ACT 235 Lethal Weapons Training Certification
- Currently have or be able to attain all necessary immunizations
- Provide personally owned duty weapon (9mm caliber handgun)
- Complete certification to carry an approved less-lethal alternative (OCAT-Path Certification - OC Spray)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- First aid/CPR certification and IAHSS Basic Course, is an asset
