Assistant Nurse Manager

Novant Health seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Med/Surg unit to support high-quality, patient-centered care. This role partners with the Nurse Manager to oversee daily operations, staff coordination, and clinical workflows while serving as a visible clinical leader at the bedside. Responsibilities include mentoring nurses, supporting evidence-based practice, monitoring quality and safety metrics, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive culture. The Assistant Nurse Manager helps optimize staffing, supports staff development, and ensures compassionate, culturally competent care for a diverse patient population.
