Experienced CRNAs: join a hospital-based locum tenens anesthesia team in Sacramento, CA, with a broad general surgery case mix, no call, and a supportive, collaborative care model.
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $4,890-$5,790
- Location: Sacramento, California (95823) - enjoy a vibrant capital city with sunny weather, diverse neighborhoods, and convenient access to parks, dining, and Northern California destinations.
- Setting: Hospital-based anesthesia
- Start Date: 8/31/2026
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks with option to extend
- Schedule: Mix of shifts
- Shifts Per Week: 4
- Shift Duration: 10 hours
- Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
- Call: No call
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60 days from completed application submission
- Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Board Certification required
- Active California CRNA licensure or eligibility required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Comfort with a variety of general anesthesia cases in a hospital setting
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based anesthesia model
- Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for general surgical procedures in a hospital environment
- Manage a diverse case mix including general, spine, neuro, orthopedic, gynecologic, and urology cases
- Support occasional pediatric cases, typically healthy patients ages 4 and older, with limited younger pediatric ear tube cases as needed
- Collaborate closely with physicians, perioperative staff, and anesthesia team members to support efficient patient care
- Document patient care accurately in Epic
- Maintain high clinical standards and contribute to quality outcomes throughout the perioperative process
