  • Assignment Type: Locum tenens CRNA contract position
  • Location: Multiple Austin, Texas healthcare facilities (78705)
  • Contract Duration: weeks, with extension opportunities
  • Openings: 10 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist positions
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour day shifts; evening shifts available (11a 11p or 3p 11p)
  • Weekly Hours: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,563 $6,181
  • Practice Setting: General, neuro, orthopedic, and OB anesthesia cases
  • Charting Systems: iPro, Cerner
  • MD Supervision: Yes (1 MD to 4 CRNAs)
CRNA Qualifications Austin, Texas Nursing Jobs
  • Active Texas registered nurse license
  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA
  • Ability to work across multiple Austin healthcare facilities and adapt to diverse clinical environments
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and verify patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia for general, neuro, orthopedic, and OB cases
  • Monitor patients physiological condition throughout procedures
  • Perform clinical interventions as needed
  • Collaborate closely with supervising MDs and the anesthesia care team
