Compensation: $19.00 / hour

Description
Responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to the production schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packaging according to operating instructions.
- Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
- Operates various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per Franklin Fueling Systems.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
Skills and Abilities
- Works with various hand and power tools.
- Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Utilizes common sense understanding in order to carry out written, oral, or diagrammed instructions.
- Provides accurate work on a consistent basis meeting precise tolerances and standards.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to work closely with others on a team.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility in work environment performing a variety of frequently changing tasks.
- Ability to work alone effectively under stress and in situations dangerous to self or others.
- Completes some moderately repetitive tasks.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- Six months or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
Computer Skills
- Basic computer knowledge (required).
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
- While performing the functions of this job, the employee is:
- Continually required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 lbs.; stand.
- Regularly required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 lbs.; push or pull; walk.
- Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; sit; ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps; turn wrenches, valves, or handles; bend or twist; use upper extremities; reach above shoulders; reach to full extension.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include regular peripheral viewing; viewing length changes; close viewing with depth perception; and occasional distance viewing.
- Specific hearing abilities required by this job include the need to perceive the spoken voice clearly and the need to hear warning signals up to 70dbs with or without assistance.
- Specific speech abilities regularly required by this job include comprehensible speech.
