Full job description
Livewell Animal Hospital of McKinney, a new full-service hospital located in the Stonebridge area of McKinney, offers wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and preventive medicine in a carefully crafted modern facility. The founding veterinarian, Dr. Jessica Cohen, also a board-certified theriogenologist, along with Hospital Manager, Robert Hand, have built a modern, progressive hybrid general practice/reproductive referral center where exceptional medicine, strong client relationships, and a collaborative team culture come together.
As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join our team in either a full-time or part-time capacity. We are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about practicing high-quality medicine and surgery, motivated to help grow an already thriving practice, and interested in putting down roots within our hospital and community for years to come.
This opportunity is best suited for an established DVM who is comfortable practicing independently, managing appointments and cases confidently, and contributing as a key member of the medical team.
Our hospital is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiography, a comprehensive in-house laboratory, a dedicated dental suite with digital dental radiography, a high-end ultrasound unit, oxygen cage capabilities, and a rigid endoscope utilized for reproductive procedures. Whether your interests lie in preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, or reproduction, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and pursue your professional passions in a supportive environment that values continued learning and development.
We strongly believe in collaborative medicine and maintain close relationships with specialists throughout the area, allowing our team to provide comprehensive care while continuing to learn from a broader veterinary network. We encourage open communication, case discussion, and a team-oriented approach to patient care.
This position offers an excellent work-life balance with a four-day work week and a rotating Saturday schedule. We understand the importance of having time outside of work to enjoy family, friends, hobbies, and everything the vibrant McKinney community has to offer.
If you are looking for a practice where your voice is heard, your interests are supported, and your career can thrive alongside a talented and dedicated team, we would love to meet you and show you what makes Livewell Animal Hospital of McKinney such a rewarding place to practice veterinary medicine.
