Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Patrol Assignment in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $24.64 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel regarding incidents and patrol observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
