Industrial Engineer

Precision Custom Components (PCC), a division of BWXT, is seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.

The Industrial Engineer position is concerned with basic analysis, measurement, and evaluation functions of industrial engineering as assigned by a supervisor. This position will be responsible for interpreting basic data, evaluating techniques, and providing temporary planning on a selected basis.

Essential Duties of the Industrial Engineer:

• Performs basic work measurement assignments.
• Analyzes and suggests improved methods, systems, procedures and material flow.
• Prepares cost estimates and comparisons of existing alternatives using established procedures.
• Prepares manpower estimates and related budget requirements on specific assignments.
• Assists in developing material handling and plant and office layout requirements.
• Analyzes, develops and processes appropriate requests through implementation and follow-up.
• Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, project engineering, quality engineering and other operating functions to prepare personnel and material activity measurements.
• Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure justifications.

Education/Qualifications:

• BS in Industrial Engineering
• No prior industrial engineering experience required. This position is an entry position for a graduate industrial engineer.
• 0-2 years of experience
• Ability to work collaboratively with others. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills required. Must have knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
• US citizenship is required
