Precision Custom Components (PCC), a division of BWXT, is seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site position reporting to our manufacturing facility in York, PA.
The Industrial Engineer position is concerned with basic analysis, measurement, and evaluation functions of industrial engineering as assigned by a supervisor. This position will be responsible for interpreting basic data, evaluating techniques, and providing temporary planning on a selected basis.

Whether you’re driving results in the office or making them happen on the shop floor, you’ll collaborate across departments to solve problems, support efficient operations, and help ensure every component is completed safely, accurately, and with precision!
Essential Duties of the Industrial Engineer:
- Performs basic work measurement assignments.
- Analyzes and suggests improved methods, systems, procedures and material flow.
- Prepares cost estimates and comparisons of existing alternatives using established procedures.
- Prepares manpower estimates and related budget requirements on specific assignments.
- Assists in developing material handling and plant and office layout requirements.
- Analyzes, develops and processes appropriate requests through implementation and follow-up.
- Interfaces with manufacturing personnel, project engineering, quality engineering and other operating functions to prepare personnel and material activity measurements.
- Assists in the preparation of capital expenditure justifications.
Education/Qualifications:
- BS in Industrial Engineering
- No prior industrial engineering experience required. This position is an entry position for a graduate industrial engineer.
- 0-2 years of experience
- Ability to work collaboratively with others. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent computer skills required. Must have knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.
- US citizenship is required
