ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs tasks related to Project Services operations, included but not limited to: unloading of inbound trucks, receiving & inspecting materials, packaging / banding / bundling / wrapping of shipments, reeling / spooling cable, constructing wooden shipping crates, performing light manufacturing (drilling / cutting of aluminum and/or copper conductors), consolidating shipments by project and loading outbound trucks.
- Attends safety meetings as requested / instructed.
- Operates all machinery and equipment, including the Company’s forklift, in a safe manner always.
- Communicates frequently with the Logistics and the Project Coordinators or Project Managers concerning material receiving / shipping issues, material damage and coordination of all inbound/outbound logistics.
- Assist all Project Coordinators and Project Managers with the delivery of emergency products, recognize and share lessons learned (both good and bad) to all project coordinators and the company management and recognize and promote opportunities for quality and productivity improvements.
- Keeps the Project Service Center property in order, including but not limited to: routine maintenance and grooming of grounds and facilities and regular and preventative maintenance on all Company equipment and machinery.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Read and understand measuring devices such as tape measure, rules, and combination squares.
- Perform simple shop math (add/subtract fractions, decimals, and whole numbers).
- Experience applying simple hand tools such as wrenches, hammer, screw driver etc.
- Basic computer skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (PREFERRED):
- Experience working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.
- Substation experience.
- Experience pinning steel.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Experience operating a Lift Truck and Man-lift.
- Basic knowledge of how to assemble bus conductors both rigid and flexible.
