Automotive Technician | $24.50–$32.50/HR | No Weekends

Chesdin Automotive & Collision

Location: North Dinwiddie, VA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | No Weekends
Pay Rate: $24.50/hour base + production incentives up to $8/hour
Pay Type: Hourly + Production Incentive
Earning Potential: $53,400–$77,000 annually

This opportunity is geared toward a B-Level or strong C-Level Technician with professional experience who can handle general repairs independently while continuing to develop toward more advanced diagnostic work.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional automotive technician experience
  • B-Level or strong C-Level automotive repair skill set
  • Strong general automotive mechanical repair skills
  • Automotive diagnostic ability
  • Ability to complete most repairs independently without heavy supervision
  • Ability to maintain consistent productivity and repair quality
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Compensation & Benefits

  • 30 billed hours: additional $2.50/hour production incentive
  • 35 billed hours: additional $5.00/hour production incentive
  • 40 billed hours: additional $8.00/hour production incentive
  • Effective hourly rate can reach $32.50 based on production

New hires complete a 90-day performance evaluation focused on repair quality, consistency, production, and shop standards. Compensation and production scaling are finalized following the evaluation.
