  • Day shifts 7 am - 7 pm; night shifts thereafter -- PRN 6 shifts/month
  • Avg 4 patients per day per provider
  • Avg inpatient census of 20 patients
  • Procedures required -- arterial lines, central lines, lumbar punctures
  • Vent management and ICU rounding required
  • Admissions and discharge responsibilities included
  • Provider expected to respond to codes
