Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is currently hiring a Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse, individuals in the GSC Demand Planning organization. This position will be located onsite in Dayton, OH.

Job Responsibilities:
- Long term capacity and resource planning.
- Aggregates and prioritizes demand requirements.
- Analyzes purchase material supply/demand position using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools.
- Creates/reduces supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
- Participates in long-term capacity and resource planning to ensure proper scheduling.
- Plans inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements.
- Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain Schedules through strategic planning and execution.
- Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements release constraints and material excess review.
- Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
- Communicate program schedule deviations and ensure all impacts are coordinated with internal/external customers prior to implementation and execution.
- Work on a team of individuals in a dynamic, fast-paced Program environment with responsibilities including rapid requirements execution, scrap/spare/replacement planning and serve as a GSC liaison to the Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.
This position may be filled as a Level 1 or Level 2 based on the qualifications outlined below.
Basic Qualifications Associate Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- A Bachelor’s degree; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 4 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment .
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Basic Qualifications Supply Chain Planning Specialist:
- A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; A Master’s degree with 0 years of experience supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; OR in lieu of degree a High School Diploma with 6 years experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment .
- MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
- Must have previous experience in Supply Chain
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S Government Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Bills of Materials
- Experience in SAP
- Experience with Advanced Planning and Material Requirements Planning
