Job Overview


  • Location: Lincolnton, NC

  • Specialty: Hematology/Oncology

  • Coverage: December 7, 2026 €" April 2, 2027

  • Schedule: 3 days per week, Monday€"Friday

  • Hours: 8:30am€"5:30pm

  • Call: None

  • Travel: All covered under client guidelines

  • Start Date:

    • December 7, 2026 - April 2, 2027

    • Approximately 60-day credentialing timeframe


  • Setting:

    • Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic

    • Primarily benign hematology patients

    • Occasional malignant oncology patients

    • Support from 3 physicians and 2 APPs


  • Patient Volume:

    • Approximately 12€"15 patients per day

    • Established follow-ups and new benign hematology consultations

    • Maximum template of approximately 16 patients daily


  • Job Details:

    • Outpatient hematology and oncology management

    • Primarily benign hematology consultations and follow-ups

    • Occasional malignant oncology cases

    • No procedures required

    • No after-hours or weekend call


  • Client Requirements:

    • Board Certified

    • Active North Carolina medical license or IMLC eligibility


  • EMR: Epic

  • Delta Locum Tenens can assist with travel arrangements and credentialing, and will cover malpractice.
