Hospitalist - Neurology physician job in Texas : Enterprise Medical Recruiting is assisting a large, physician-led multispecialty group in recruiting a Neurohospitalist to join its growing inpatient neurology program in Austin, Texas. This is a great opportunity for a neurologist looking for a predictable block schedule, strong compensation, and additional earning potential through optional tele-neurology services.
Opportunity Highlights
~ Seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologists
~ Fellowship training in Stroke, Neurocritical Care, or Neurophysiology is welcomed but not required
~ Open to both new graduates and experienced neurologists
~100% inpatient neurology practice
~ Seven-on, seven-off schedule with 182 shifts annually
~ Flexible scheduling options available
~ Primarily 10-hour shifts with overnight phone and tele-neurology support
~ Collaborative practice environment with strong hospital and specialist support
Compensation & Benefits
~ Base salary of $375,000 in year one
~ Base salary increases to $400,000 beginning in year two
~ Additional shifts above the full-time schedule compensated at $2,000 per shift
~$25,000 sign-on bonus with potential for additional hospital incentives
~ Optional tele-neurology coverage offering significant ancillary income potential
~ Annual CME allowance of $1,500
~ Employer-paid malpractice insurance
~ DEA registration, Texas medical license, and medical staff dues covered
~ Comprehensive benefits package
