Company Description
Program Description
- Software Development - Design, coding, and testing of our on-premise and cloud-based Alertus Server, mobile applications, and third-party integrations (e.g., Node.js, Java, Flutter).
- Hardware Engineering - Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of hardware electronics, including our High Power Speaker Array and other IoT devices.
- Technical Support - Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical assistance to clients, resolving complex software and hardware issues, and learning the customer-facing impact of our solutions.
- Quality Assurance - Focus on rigorous testing methodologies (manual and automated), bug tracking, and validation of hardware and software components (e.g., Server, Mobile Apps, Hardware devices like CCUs, Sirens, HPSAs).
- Technical Field Services & Implementations - Assist with the on-site installation, configuration, and integration of Alertus solutions at client sites across the nation.
- Product Management & Technical Writing - Support product development efforts, conduct product requirement research, contribute to product requirements generation, and complete vital integration work. Assist with building out our Knowledge Base (KB) repository with documentation on our products for our customers and various internal teams.
- Sales Engineering - Provide pre-sales technical expertise, conducting product demonstrations, and designing technical solutions for complex client needs.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Must be willing to transition work assignments, projects, and teams every 8-12 months throughout the program
- A strong customer-service mindset and a desire to contribute to a life-saving mission
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong and effective communication (both written and verbal)
- Intellectual curiosity and embrace any change that comes your way
- Ability to travel on occasion
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Recent graduates or early career professionals with less than 2 years of professional experience (including internship/ co-op experiences).
