Education and Background
- Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or 7+ years of experience without a degree.
Required Skills
- Prior experience monitoring, researching, and disseminating security and/or threat-related intelligence reporting, particularly in a U.S. government or Department of State context.
- Strong ability to identify relevant intelligence and generate accurate, timely, concise synopses of reports.
- Ability to follow established processes, procedures, and written templates.
- Proficiency in databases and tools used to access and disseminate classified information.
- Strong skills in oral and written communication to present clear, concise information overviews.
- Ability to manage time and work independently to achieve assigned tasks, while also taking direction from both mid- and senior-level supervisors responsible for management of complementary information-sharing missions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels.
- Customer service mindset, with a strong desire to meet customer needs within established mission parameters."
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience working on a watch floor, particularly if involved in threat warning and/or intelligence operations.
- Familiarity with Department of State and other U.S. government agency missions, databases, search platforms, and/or information handling systems."
