The Details:
- Location: City of Laguna Beach
- Position: On-Demand Driver
- Schedule: Part – Time Shifts vary between Mon – Sun
- Pay Rate: $21.00 hour - The rate will temporarily increase to $24.00 an hour for the summer peak season, June-Sept.
- Shift availability: AM or PM Shift
- MUST WORK WEEKENDS WITH WEEKDAYS OFF. SCHEDULE WILL CHANGE FOR SUMMER SEASON WITH LATER SHIFTS/HOURS
Requirements:
- Class C license or Commercial License Class A or Class B
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to pass MVR (Driving Record)

Spirit of the Position:
LAZ Shuttle Driver is responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.
Principal Job Duties:
- Safely operating company vehicles.
- GET 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
- Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle, including ADA passengers if applicable.
- Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
- Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.
Requirements:
- 2 or more years of driving experience.
- Comply with Federal DOT, State Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Valid Driver’s License with passenger endorsement if applicable for state regulations.
- Ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
- Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift
- Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
Physical Demands:
- Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
