Overview

The Finance Ops Support Analyst is responsible for several operational aspects of the business which overall supports effective finance operation processes. This role may be responsible in the following functional aspects; troubleshooting, error handling, training, acquisition integration support and systems capabilities. This role will also support training and documentation of processes, including support of continuous improvement initiatives and being part of cross-functional team for process improvements within the finance department. This role will primarily have a Project Management and Continuous Improvement focus within the Finance Systems Team.

This role will be onsite in Camden, NJ 5 days a week.


Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and analyze business processes and system functionality to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions
  • Lead or assist in conducting meetings with cross-functional departments in an organized and detailed manner

  • Define system scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and analysis of business and user requirements

  • Gather, analyze, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle

  • Monitor and support internal Finance customers by troubleshooting and resolving system and process-related issues

  • Evaluate job-specific system processes and functionality and recommend improvements to enhance overall solutions

  • Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, and other departments to troubleshoot and resolve process and operational issues

  • Participate in Lean Continuous Improvement initiatives, including process mapping and facilitating improvement efforts

  • Identify, analyze, document, and determine the root cause of system issues

  • Develop appropriate documentation outlining issues, root causes, priorities, and requirements for resolution, and manage issues through completion

  • Ability to break down complex, high-level information into detailed requirements while also summarizing large datasets into clear, actionable insights

  • Develop ad hoc reports using various departmental data sources and systems

  • Support Finance Systems leaders with projects and other initiatives as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

  • Resourceful with a positive attitude

  • Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles preferred

  • Experience supporting the integration of mergers and acquisitions preferred

We are excited to share that the base salary range for this position is $72,890.22 - $97,186.96. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 3%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location when determining a starting rate of pay.
