Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Night Shift

Job Type: Full-Time | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
About the Role
Cypress Valley Center for Nursing is seeking compassionate, dependable, and skilled Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our night shift clinical team. As an LPN, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional, resident-centered care while collaborating with the Registered Nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and nursing leadership.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
Monitor resident conditions and promptly communicate changes to the Registered Nurse and healthcare team.
Perform routine nursing procedures including medication administration, wound care, catheter care, specimen collection, and vital signs.
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough clinical documentation in the electronic medical record.
Implement individualized care plans and contribute to resident assessments.
Provide compassionate care while promoting resident dignity, comfort, and safety.
Respond promptly to resident needs and medical emergencies during overnight hours.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards.
Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of North Carolina.
Current CPR certification (First Aid certification preferred).
Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care is preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and provide quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative healthcare team.
