Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 - 4:30 NO CALL
Compensation
Competitive salary: $230,000 - $315,000 per year , based on training, experience, and formal VA pay-setting (Base Pay + Market Pay)
Incentives: Recruitment/relocation and performance incentives may be available, subject to eligibility and facility needs
VA total rewards
Federal retirement with pension (FERS) plus Thrift Savings Plan with up to 5% employer contribution
Comprehensive federal health, dental, vision, life, and long-term care insurance, many carry into retirement
Potential annual performance pay (up to 7.5% of salary, maximum $15,000) and possible CME reimbursement up to $1,000 for eligible full-time, board-certified physicians
Free malpractice coverage with tail coverage and no restrictive employment contract or non-compete
Practice environment
Care for Veterans in a team-based Patient Aligned Care Team model with strong nursing and ancillary support
Mostly outpatient continuity care: chronic disease management, preventive care, and same-day access for acute needs
Electronic medical records, embedded pharmacy, social work, mental health, and specialty referral support
