Endocrinologist openings in Grand Rapids, MI Located in the heart of West MichiganPosition Details
- 2 openings
- Practice Type: Full-time, hospital-employed positions
- Clinical Scope: - Provide a full range of endocrinology services - Split time between outpatient clinic and inpatient consults
- Team Composition: - Join a multidisciplinary team of six Endocrinologists, two Diabetologists, Advanced Practice Providers, Pharmacist, Care Managers, RNs, Diabetes Educators, and other staff - Supported by a large Primary Care network with 82+ sites of care Essential Functions
- Assess and monitor the medical needs of patients and their significant others
- Deliver high-quality, cost-effective care while ensuring consistent coverage of the caseload
- Collaborate in the development of policies and procedures related to medical practice and quality patient care
- Oversee care provided by Advanced Practice Providers and other delegated team members
- Evaluate and address educational needs of patients, families, and staff, delegating as appropriate
- Maintain documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care and coordination of services
- Act as a patient and family advocate
- Participate in clinical process improvement and quality initiatives

- Medical Degree (MD/DO) with licensure in Michigan
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Endocrinology
- Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology
