Key Responsibilities

  • Administer modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. You would be responsible for preparing and applying these treatment modalities as part of the rehabilitation process.
  • Document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength, and overall functional capabilities. Your records will provide valuable insights for the interdisciplinary team to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure that all equipment and supplies are well-organized and ready for each session. This attention to detail is crucial in providing smooth and efficient patient care.
  • Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists, to devise comprehensive care strategies and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients, fostering an uplifting and motivating atmosphere that enables better recovery.
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards while maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting their rights throughout the treatment process.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population spanning various age groups and rehabilitation needs. You will assist in the care of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, athletic injuries, and age-related mobility challenges. Each treatment plan is customized to address the unique requirements and goals of our patients, promoting a holistic recovery approach.
