We are hiring a CDL A Driver for Port and Yard Operations in the Signal Hill, California area, offering $31 per hour. Pay & Schedule Details

  • Pay Rate: $31 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Shift: Day Shift (6 AM - 4 PM)
  • Home Daily

Job Details

  • Route Type: Local
  • Freight: No Touch
  • Equipment: Containers, chassis, and trailers
  • Handling: Transporting and repositioning equipment between marine terminals and customer facilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Transporting and repositioning containers, chassis, and trailers between marine terminals and customer facilities.
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and documenting conditions of equipment.
  • Utilizing technology for real-time tracking and communication regarding assignments and updates.
  • Assisting warehouse personnel with strategic trailer placement when needed.

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience: 4+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
  • Valid CDL A
  • Current DOT Medical Certificate
  • TWIC Card required (or ability to obtain immediately)
  • Must be at least 23 years old
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
