Job Description
Job Summary
Shriners Hospitals for Children is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide exceptional inpatient care to pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, and cleft lip/palate. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care within a supportive and collaborative multidisciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family.
This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
RN License in state of practice
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
BSN
Preferred Qualifications
2 years' experience in acute care nursing
Bilingual English/Spanish
