Location: Avon Lake, OH

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

10% Shift Differential

Watteredge is looking for a dependable and mechanically skilled CNC Vaski Operator to join our second-shift manufacturing team. If you have CNC or machine operation experience, enjoy hands-on work, and take pride in producing quality parts, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do

  • Set up and operate CNC Vaski equipment.
  • Read and follow blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and job travelers.
  • Load and position materials for production.
  • Select appropriate machine settings, tooling, and programs for each job.
  • Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed.
  • Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
  • Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and measuring tapes.
  • Troubleshoot basic machine, tooling, and production issues.
  • Complete production documentation accurately.
  • Perform routine machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Work with Production, Quality, and Engineering to resolve manufacturing issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC, Vaski, or manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
  • Basic shop math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Dependable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
