This position involves providing emergency care at a 146-bed hospital with integrated EMR, including cross-credentialing at a freestanding emergency department, with shifts covering days, nights, and holidays. Opportunity Highlights Emergency Medicine locum tenens role Shifts include days (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.), nights (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.), and holidays Level III Trauma Center with comprehensive emergency services Fully accredited Chest Pain Center and leading cardiovascular services Magnet-designated hospital (ANCC) Broad clinical scope including trauma, cardiac, and general emergency cases Practice Environment This opportunity is based within a fully accredited community hospital serving the greater Blacksburg region. Providers will work within a structured emergency department environment supported by experienced staff, with staffing based on 48-hour physician and 24-hour NP/PA coverage. The hospital utilizes Meditech EMR and is recognized for safety and quality care.
