We're looking for a
Maintenance Mechanic - 1st shift who takes pride in quality work and problem-solving. This role is essential in keeping our campus running efficiently and safely through skilled maintenance and repair work across a wide variety of systems and equipment.
Hourly Rate: $38.20
What You'll DoYou'll use your hands-on skills to plan, install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems across our Carlisle Campus. Tasks include:
- Performing work in machining, welding, carpentry, electrical, pipefitting, and plumbing
- Installing and aligning machinery and equipment
- Operating shop tools and heavy equipment such as lathes, mills, forklifts, and tractors
- Maintaining boilers, HVAC systems, and other essential infrastructure
- Troubleshooting mechanical and basic electrical systems
- Completing preventative maintenance and repair tasks in a safe and timely manner
- Collaborating with a diverse team across departments

Preferred Knowledge & Skills: - Basic understanding of industrial maintenance practices
- Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Skilled in operating a variety of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of shop equipment like mills, lathes, and grinders
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Clear communication skills - written and verbal
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Experience with machine troubleshooting and working in high or confined spaces
Education & Experience: - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completed apprenticeship, technical program, or equivalent mechanical experience preferred
- 0-4 years of experience for entry-level roles | 4+ years for senior roles
- Industrial/manufacturing experience is a plus
