About the Role:

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care. You will lead by example, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and integrity among your team members. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring that our care standards align with industry best practices.

Director of Nursing Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and programs

  • Lead and manage a team of dedicated nurses and caregivers, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional patient care

  • Collaborate with the medical director and other department heads to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care

  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organization policies

  • Develop and manage budgets, allocating resources effectively to meet the needs of our residents and staff

  • Foster open communication and build strong relationships with our interdisciplinary team, residents, and families

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience as a Director of Nursing or in a similar leadership role

  • **Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina
