Quality Inspector-2nd shift

Job Summary-

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS), a premier provider to the US Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Quality Inspector for our 2nd shift (3:30pm-2:00am) schedule at our Springboro, OH Facility.

Responsibilities-

Quality inspector is responsbile for in process inspection for our manufacturing processes.

• Must be self-motivated, self-directed and possess leadership qualities
• Must have a good attendance record
• Previous Quality inspection a must (experience in a manufacturing environment as plus)
• Highly knowledgeable in the use of various types of gages, micrometers, calipers, etc
• Has intermediate or advanced knowledge of quality control procedures
• Has intermediate or advanced understanding of containment and quarantine procedures and NCM procedures
• Monitor production operations to ensure they meet documented standards
• Must be able to utilize basic math skills
• Must be able to communicate with operations, management and DCMA
• Ensure all EHS compliance is met
• Must be able to use computer and email for data entry
• Must be able to communicate with management and other personnel

Qualifications-

High School diploma/GED required. Quality experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
