- Develop and review changes to electrical system diagrams including system interfaces
- Evaluate electrical cableways design and routing drawings
- Troubleshoot issues identified by construction team
- Write procedures to test and maintain electrical systems
- Interface with internal customers to ensure the system is installed to plan
- Work with operations to support installation and test
- Emphasis on mentoring junior personnel
- Review and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum Associate of Science degree in electrical engineering or engineering degree with related electrical background
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Level Clearance
- 10 or more years of submarine shipbuilding and/or service experience
Preferred
- Prior defense contractor systems engineering experience
- Former submarine service
- Shipyard/manufacturing experience
